Who We Are

Fortis Local is a community postcard advertising company. We mail a single, shared postcard to thousands of homes in a local area, and split the ad space across local businesses — one business per category, so you're never sharing the card with a direct competitor.

I started this because I saw a real gap in how local businesses reach their own neighborhoods. In a world where every business is told to fight for attention on a screen, a physical card that shows up in someone's hand still gets noticed — and sharing the cost across a handful of local businesses makes that kind of advertising affordable for the businesses that need it most, not just the ones with a marketing budget. That's the whole idea: smart, shared, printed advertising for a tech-overwhelmed world.

This is my full-time focus right now, not a side project. I'm building it city by city, on purpose — starting with communities sized so local businesses actually get seen, instead of getting buried in a market that's already saturated with ads.
